SARA is the Softech solution for monitoring and analyzing outdoor environmental parameters (noise, air quality, weather) at the airport.

Equipped with highly specialized analysis software and specific monitoring terminals for each context, it allows the continuous collection of acoustic and air quality data to correlate them with aeronautical activities, calculating the indices required by the regulations of the laws in force and preparing specific reports and graphs.

With a web-based architecture and fully customizable features, interface, accounts and languages, it can be supplied in two different configurations:

• On-premises
• SAAS(Software as a Service) by accessing our dedicated CLOUD.

The system features highly specialized analysis software intended for use by technical staff, and a public interface, developed to improve the airport’s relationship with host communities.

Technical interface:

an easy-to-use tool for viewing, managing and analyzing the data collected by the monitoring terminals. Developed for professionals, the technical interface automatically correlates acoustic events and the trend of air pollutants with aeronautical activities by analyzing radar traces or flight planning. It allows you to view radar traces in 2D/3D and lets you know the operation of the control units in real time, allowing you to intervene promptly in the event of problems.

Thanks to the analysis and report tool, it reduces the time and workload of the technicians, assisting them in their everyday work.

The SARA-Ground module is integrated in the latest software version.

Public Viewer:

Designed to improve the relationship between airports and host communities, Public Vieweris an eye-catching web-based graphical interface that can be provided stand-alone or as a SARA add-on.

It allows the visualization of information in 2D and 3D mode and can be added to the airport website or displayed on the Environmental Totem in the airport terminal, involving citizens and passengers in a complex and critical process such as that of environmental management.; the complaint collection and management function makes the relationship with the community even more direct and transparent.

• List of flights departing/landing at the airport
• Flight distance from the airport
• PCA: Distance between a flight and a point on the map
• Virtual Noise: noise perceived in a point of the map
• Other

The system is supplied complete with noise and/or air quality monitoring terminals, designed to operate under a wide range of climatic conditions.

They can have different configurations based on the customer’s request and the need to respect specific technical characteristics.

All control units are available in fixed or mobile versions and are equipped with:

• • Class 1 sound level meters (supports third party instruments)
  • Outdoor microphone in stainless steel
  • Weather sensors
  • Solar panels or power switching with backup battery
  • Several pollutant analyzers (CO, NO, NOX, NO2, BTX, hydrocarbons, PM10, PM2.5, O3, SO2, Others)
  • Stainless steel/PVC cabinet, alarms and controlled internal temperature.
